Detailed Job Description Position Name (HR Title) GCP Data Architect Job Description (Role Notes) Key Soft Skills: Proven work experience as a Data Architect with 10 years experience developing data solutions, working in various ETL technologies with full lifecycle implementations. Understand the business requirement or the downstream process requirement Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment. Strong Verbal and written Communication skills. Understanding of Agile driven development Strong knowledge of quality processes SDLC, Review, Test, Configuration Management Release and Defect Prevention Key Technical Requirements Be a part of the discovery phase for Client's Google Journey and document business use cases Analyze requirements and optimize processes for new and existing applications Migrate data from legacy systems to new platforms Design conceptual and logical data models Improve overall data retrieval performance by conducting tests, trouble shoot and integrating new process flow Coordinate with the Data Science department to identify future needs and requirement Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques Expertise in relational SQL and Cloud Databases with query optimization. Knowledge in Google Cloud Ecosystem with knowledge in Big Query, GCS, Cost Management, Pub/Sub required Develop materialized views and data partitions for effective cost control using Google Cloud Excellent knowledge in Unix shell scripting with 3+ years' experience with creating and deploying various scripts Proven analytical skills Nice to have skills: Knowledge of Tableau, Looker, JIRA, GIT is an added advantage Media Domain Knowledge Cloud Containerization Client Delivery City/State New York, NY (Remote)
