- Our client is looking for strong service level API developers with GO experiences (possibly Rust) who are experienced with Microservices and Containers.
- This role will be part of a SCRUM team and will need to have/be able to work with/in DevOps capabilities using containers with Kubernetes and making sure that services are properly instrumented.
- They will be using test-driven unit testing and participating in functional testing.
- Ideally, the resource should also be able to participate in the technical specification phase as well.
- The environment is a hybrid Prem/Azure environment that will be moving to Azure.
- Most of the platform is currently on Prem, but new dev will favor Azure.
- C and Rust might be accepted instead of GO, but no C#.
- The need is for speed in the API layer.
- Candidates should be familiar with RT and asynchronous systems and with Postgres experience.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
