We have a great opportunity as a Head of Data Science and Advanced Analytics with our client, a leader in their industry. This is a hybrid role in NYC, open to someone willing to relocate.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Salary: $180K - $210K annuallyResponsibilities of the Head of Data Science and Advanced Analytics: - Build and lead a team of data scientists in delivering analytics and machine learning solutions
- Identify opportunities to build efficiencies of scale, reduce redundancies and risk, and deliver creative solutions
- Monitor market, role, and location-level performance to diagnose opportunities to improve practice management
- Deliver dashboards for leadership to identify gaps in performance
Requirements of the Head of Data Science and Advanced Analytics: - Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 7+ years of experience leading small-mid data science organizations required
- In-depth background in data science that includes behavioral analytics, statistical analyses, and machine learning with experience in the asset management industry
- Stay current on modern data mining, quantitative research, and data science techniques
- Expertise to right-size an analytical approach to the complexity of the problem
- Able to think independently and collaboratively to implement creative solutions that solve business problems, being diligent in detail while maintaining focus on broader purpose and business objectives
- Proven ability to summarize key information and present recommendations to multiple stakeholders to influence senior management and non-technical audiences
- Expertise in asset management process-related data, with the ability to fluently communicate with investment management business professionals to gather and understand requirements and solve problems
- Machine learning expertise required
