Job DescriptionThe Financial Model Office (FMO) Governance role is focused on the safety and sound model landscape practices through comprehensive first-line framework, governance and controls activities, including the formulation of the strategy across the Model Life-Cycle. The role works in a team that partners with stakeholders (Businesses, FP&A, Risk, MRM) to ensure harmonization in line with transformation effort to the Central Governance of Model-Lifecycle activities across all 16 Finance functions.Deliverables include, but are not limited to, running the Governance forums for providing entire Model Life cycle based Dashboard for Finance model landscape.The role works in a team that interacts closely with fellow process transformation counterparts within model development, the business line and Product and Corporate FP&A Functions within Citi to help re-define and integrate disparate planning processes for revenue, balance sheet, capital, expenses, interest rate risk, RWA and more.Deliverables include, but are not limited to, working with model development and the product FP&A staff to focus on design of models with operational efficiency in mind, leveraging an agile approach to transformation to integrate capital and business planning.The primary business goal is to streamline forecasting processes, enable analytics of P&L and balance sheet components, enable integration and consolidation of various types of financial planning models, conversion to the Y14A Federal Reserve templates, enable what-if analysis.The work involves business analysis, technology simplification, leveraging a pilot based, agile oriented delivery mechanism.A critical component of the role is to understand financial planning processes and models to forecast revenue, balance sheet, expenses and capital.Responsibilities:Establish the 1 Line of defense (LoD) Model Governance Forum’s Charter, Scope, Responsibilities, Participants, Frequency and Escalation path to Peer Committees (e.g. MRM & Senior Committee).

Manage and mitigate 1LoD model risk and maintain model hygiene.

Engage with all Finance Functions (Treasury, Tax, Controllers, Financial Analysis & Planning, Capital Planning etc), and Key Stakeholders.

Actively facilitate timely stakeholder responses for Model Risk Management activities.

Evaluate, improve, monitor and assist in Reporting to Senior Management, Committees and Auditors, as needed.

Report Model related Current / Emerging issues and mitigations.

Design Committee Presentation Templates and Dashboard Reporting.

Maintain Minutes of the Meetings.

Assess and Report on Finance Model Risk Appetite.

Develop Actionable Plan for remediation.

Govern issues centrally and Monitor Path to Satisfaction (Green).

Coordinate the remediation of Finance-wide Breaches and Dispensations.

Follow-through and Remediation of the Action Items.

Proactive Management of Model Risk by establishing and executing Monthly Reporting Dashboard for Key Areas.

Capture and report Model Performance Statistics for OPA threshold breaches.

Qualifications:Minimum of 10+ years of relevant finance/business/accounting/MIS experience in financial services along with demonstrated experience working with technology to build software solutions for Risk, finance and/or front office solutions.

Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering or technology-oriented disciplines

Financial statement/product knowledge.

Business Analyst skills with some program management and organizational skills.

Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative models.

Quick learner, ready to dive into details and become a go-to leader for finance models.

Strong interpersonal skills, with a balance of assertiveness and discretion to be a credible and sought-after resource.

Change agent mentality to drive for process enhancements and simplification; demonstrated ability to lead projects
