HR Partnering

Partner with colleagues from the Communities of HR Expertise (CoHRE) and CBS HR to influence and execute HR strategy, policies and programs as well as promote adoption and continuous improvement of the HR Partnership Model, facilitating collaboration.

Understand external market factors to develop insights and to inform Business HR Leader, CoHRE and business decisions

Collaborate with Business leaders on key decisions

Use workforce planning and analytics to inform solutions development (e.g. career planning, targeted compensation, incentives, retention, etc.) through anticipation and understanding of issues and trends on future labor, organization and business needs

Align the Global Finance and CBS organizations with enterprise HR principles, policies and standards

Provide leadership and guidance to business leaders related to the implementation and management of the HR strategy in the organization(s)

Identify and implement forward-thinking HR solutions based on understanding of relevant business operations and strategies aligned with the HR strategy

Provide insights to the CoHRE for the design, execution and continuous improvement of HR programs to ensure relevance to current and future business needs

Talent Management

Advise and coach business leaders on topics impacting leadership effectiveness and business results, as well as interpretation of HR policies

Understand and apply, as appropriate, the Company’s philosophy, principles and programs including total rewards, learning, people development and mobility, for example

Co-own all talent management programs together with business leaders

Fully manage the Corporate Finance intern program including recruitment

Partner with CoHREs to advise on the design and execution of HR programs to ensure relevance to current and future business needs

Support leadership development working with business leaders to identify current and projected leadership and functional capability gaps and to work on solutions that are aligned with HR strategy and CoHREs

Partner with the learning CoHRE to identify learning needs that are informed by business needs, current performance gaps, and future capabilities required and play an active role in learning governance

Provide continuous improvement feedback, perspective and participate in the assessment of the effectiveness of learning experiences and programs

Partner with Talent Acquisition CoHRE and CBS, and hiring managers, to support the recruitment, hiring and social onboarding of staff

Partner with the Compensation CoHRE and CBS, in partnership with business leaders, to identify compensation actions for key talent

Partner with the People Development CoHRE on leadership plans including talent reviews and actions as well as succession planning

Manage high volume visa and immigration process including liaising with external vendors in this area

Deploy and support CoHRE developed strategies

Organizational Effectiveness (Organization Performance, Design, Capabilities and Change Management)

Collaborate with Business HR Leader and business leaders on organization design, including structure, processes, capabilities, and resource requirements, and identify gaps and opportunities

Collaborate with business leaders on action planning to support implementation of organization design

Facilitate and support change management tailed to specific business unit, global function or project needs

Collaborate with business leaders and people managers on employee engagement initiatives

Positive Employee Relations

Serve as an employee advocate by establishing workforce relationships

Champion the Company’s ethical leadership standards, behaviors and compliance

Advise, coach and support leaders to create and maintain a positive employee relations environment and resolution of employee inquiries and issues

Facilitate employee and labor relations engagement for business leaders and people managers

Establish proactive and responsive channels of communication to understand the pulse of the organization

Partner with the People Relations CoHRE and Legal as needed

Partner with Diversity and Inclusion to implement relevant initiatives

Monitor HR compliance on-site, including third party contractors

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline

A minimum of 8 years of progression HR experience

Experience in providing HR strategic advice to HR partners and senior business leaders

Experience in development and implementation of HR initiatives

Experience in coaching and guiding members of HR and business colleagues

Experience in facilitation

Experience in one or more HR specialty area (Total Rewards, People Relations, People Development, Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion, Analytics, and Organization Development/Design)

Preferred Requirements

Master’s degree

Experience in manufacturing and/or consumer products industry

Leadership Competencies and Areas of Skill

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key internal partners and key external constituents, including vendors

Deep understanding of the external global and local business environment
