Our client, an energy company, is seeking an IT Manager, Business Applications (Supply Chain & Manufacturing)

The role:

NFE IT is undergoing a significant transformation to modernize our Enterprise Application Stack, drive automation and deliver superior business value to our stakeholders.

Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications, IT Manager, Business Applications will be a key member of Enterprise Applications teams, whose charter is to manage IT Business applications supporting Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Legal, LNG Trading departments with focus on Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Sourcing (RFI's, RFP's), Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM), Procure to Pay (P2P), Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) & Trading System (LNG) functions.

This individual will be immediately be responsible for troubleshooting support related activities, configuration, and system administration of the applications such as SAP Ariba, SAP B One, Navision, Fiix, IFS, iCertis CLM, Counsel Link etc . In addition, this role will be responsible for managing projects related to the enhancement of the platform and will be expected to identify areas of improvement, gain approval for changes from stakeholders, and implement approved improvements. We are looking for a self-starter who can adapt the system to fit the changing needs of our business. This individual will partner closely with the Global Supply Chain, Maintenance, Legal and Accounting team(s) to ensure the system meets the organization's requirements.

What you will do:

  • System administrator for global SAP Ariba environment, Navision, SAP Business One, iCertis CLM, Counsel Link, Fiix & IFS platform for changes in configuration, approval flow, build analytics dashboards or invoice exception/reconciliation rules
  • Key contributor to the implementation of new Global ERP, vendor selection, implementation and rollout
  • Working collaboratively with IT Leadership, business stakeholders and implementation partners to deliver Source to Pay, Maintenance Systems, which will involve re-design of the master data, P2P data model to meet requirements of current and future business needs
  • Gather and analyze business requirements, recommend best practices and determine course of action to implement the technical solutions
  • Management/maintenance of system integrations including banking and intra-system (OneStream, SAP Ariba, SQL Datawarehouse & JET reporting) data dependencies
  • Managing third-party vendor relations pertaining to Enterprise Application Design/Testing/Development
  • Recommend best practices, identify underutilized functions, maximize the usage of supply chain applications at NFE and keep current with new feature rollouts and upgrades
  • Strong willingness to learn new technologies at NFE and adapt to changing technology needs
  • Implement additional tools and software to supplement the ERP system as needed
  • Deliver solutions within a formal project methodology
  • Technical design and development of reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and workflows
  • Maintain strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, build effective training programs
  • Refresh test environments as needed
  • Assist business leads in defining test plans and test scripts to be used in IT and business user testing
  • Maintains user roles/groups and their access
  • Train new users on system functionality
  • Change management of the Ariba platform
  • Create tickets with Ariba support team where needed

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ Years hands on experience on Source to Pay (Sourcing, Buying & Invoicing, Spend Analytics), contract life cycle management, system implementation and system administration
  • Experience working with multiple ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, Infor etc) is preferred
  • Extensive Integration experience with multiple enterprise applications including various integration touchpoints - Purchase Order, Goods Receipts, Master Data and Invoices
  • 4+ years of experience working with RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
  • Enterprise project management experience
  • Exceptional documentation skills. Prior experience documenting business requirements, solution design and test plans
  • Detail oriented; ability to track multiple projects and deliverables
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with various business users and firm stakeholders
  • Candidate must like fasted paced environment with mix of development/project tasks as well as ongoing system administrator/maintenance responsibilities
  • Vendor management experience; ability to hold vendor and internal stakeholders accountable for project deadlines
  • Understanding and experience using SDLC methodologies
  • Understanding of IT general controls, IT application controls, and SOC
  • Experience performing application walkthroughs with auditors for SOX purposes
