- A Technical Project Manager/Analyst role, supporting Program Management for some of the largest and most significant technology programs in the FICC division
- In particular, the candidate will perform program/project management routines for Risk and Regulatory programs
- The role will require advanced leadership and communication skills, and the successful candidate will need to drive the program to completion across different lines of business and multiple stakeholders
- Provides business analysis and support for modification, implementation, or conversion of business systems
- Translates business needs into functional/technical requirements
- Acts as liaison between business unit and software/hardware developers
- Aware of business or function for which application or system is designed (Global Market trading, risk management, credit risk management)
- Tracking of project deliverables and follow up with relevant technical teams
- Skilled at researching and accessing data through various tools, databases and APIs
- Able to analyze data and create dashboards and reports that show metrics and patterns in the data
- Experienced with project management discipline, and able to create high level plans, RACI and project plans for presentation to senior management
- Identify and escalate risks, issues and dependencies that threaten program delivery dates
- Design, produce, collate and present program metrics to senior management
- Facilitate project communication across various technology and business groups within the division
- Produce high quality program management presentations (PowerPoint) for executives in business and technology; Presentations include program deliverables, business benefits, cost savings, timelines, and technical roadmaps
- Attend various meetings and technical working group meeting and produce organized and coherent meeting notes and action plans
- Undergraduate degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science
- 2-3 years work experience with any combination of the following: Derivatives/Securities Trading, Product Control, Trade Lifecycle, Market or counterparty risk management, Capital Markets, and Business Analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills, ability to tailor communication to suit the audience
- Ability to absorb and distill complex concepts and scenarios into a coherent summary of the business problems, risks, and summary of options for resolution
- Adept at research, data mining, data analysis and presentation of results
- Strong collaboration and relationship management skills, ability to work across business groups and regions and in a team environment
- High sense of urgency with ability to drive results and ability to successfully prioritize and multitask a number of deliverables
- Strong analytical skills
- Comfortable with turning ambiguity into a defined problem and potential resolution
- Ability to apply a logical and common-sense approach to problem solving
- Knowledge of trading, financial markets, instruments, regulations, trading and risk management analytics
- Experience with all stages of SDLC and comfort with technical terms/concepts
- Knowledge of project management concepts and terminology
- Key expert applications skills required: PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Jira
- Agile tools (Jira)
- MBA or MS with a focus on Computer Science or Information Systems (optional)
