Java AWS Developer" for one of our clients in "New York, NY" A global leader in business and technology servicesJOB INFORMATION Job Title: Java AWS Developer Location: New York, NY Role: Direct Hire/Full-timeRequired Skills- -Hands on experience with AWS solutions using the following stack: Kinesis, Lambda, Step functions, Athena, Glue, S3, AWS EMR (Spark), Dynamo DB, Redshift, Kubernetes (AKS)-Experience with Java 8 or above - Collections, Streams, Lambdas.-Extensive working knowledge on building data pipelines (real time and batch) and data lakes using AWS Redshift or Snowflake.-Should be well versed with the AWS well architected architecture and can apply those principles while designing a solution.-Preferably, the work experience should have been in a distributed and high volume environment.-AWS Solution Architect or Developer certified preferred Additional Skills- -Extensive hands-on development and delivery experience with a broad mix of languages and technologies such as Java, or Python, or R-Knowledge of 12-factor application development-Experience writing service using Spring Boot.-Experience on scaling and performance optimization of distributed systems.-Leading development through an API led approach.-Experience in building micro-services with RESTful API’s.-Knowledge of SQL as well as noSQL databases (such as Mongo DB) .-Experience in unit and integration testing utilizing JUnit, Mockito, JAssert and Spring Test.-Experience with industry-standard IDE, version control and development tools.-Triaging and solving problems in distributed systems in integrated release and production environments including functionality, performance and scaling bottlenecks.-Passion for software engineering and craftsman-like coding prowess.-Has helped lead development on large, in-house-built applications.-Great OO skills, including strong design patterns knowledge-Knowledge of software best practices, like TDD and continuous integration-Experience of working in a forward thinking, OSS-centric environment-Understands external dependencies Please contact: Matthew / (925) 248-9378About Trident:Trident Consulting handles the staffing and management of part or all of the recruitment process for our customers wishing to outsource their staffing requirements.
