Java J2EE Developer BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Java J2EE Developer in the New York & Delaware! Job Title: Java J2EE Developer Location: New York & Delaware (Hybrid) Expected Duration: 06 Months Contract Note: - For New York location - Monday and Friday remote/ Tues, Weds, Thurs onsite- For Delaware - 2 days in office Weds/Thursalternating Fridays in office Roles and Responsibilities: - BS/BA degree or equivalent experience- Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines- Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems- Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices- Keen understanding of financial control and budget management- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals- Passionate about building an innovative culture- Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages in particular, the Java/J2EE stack- Experience with building APIs - RESTful APIs, Web Services, Spring Boot- Working knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, NoSQL.- Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud).- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Version Control tools (BitBucket, Git)- Strong coding fundamentals - Algorithms & Data Structures- Angular JS, React and/or JavaScript UI development is a plus- Advanced knowledge of architecture & application design processes.- Experience with Jira and Confluence- Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment- Passion for automating & excelling at identifying gaps in processes- Strong bias for action; ability to take ownership and think long-term.- Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethicSkills:- Advanced - 8+ years (NYC)- Intermediate - 5+ years (DE)- Java Microservices- Spring bootSkills (Nice to have) - AWS public cloud- SQL and/or NoSQL- UI Development (Front end tools and skills) About BCforward: BCforward began as an IT business solutions and staffing firm.
