The US Wealth Management Business Transformation Office (BTO) is seeking an experienced Vice President to join their team in New York or Columbus. This role will be part of an internal consulting group responsible for the end-to-end strategy definition and execution for the firm's top strategic initiatives. BTO partners across functions, business lines and leadership teams to drive value for Advisors, Clients, and the overall business. Project scope and responsibilities will evolve to ensure alignment with priorities across all Wealth Management channels including Chase Wealth Management (in-branch), JP Morgan Advisors (brokerage), National Branch (remote) and Self-directed/Online Investing (digital).The Vice President position calls for a high degree of collaboration across functions including Senior Leadership, Front Office Advisors, Product Specialists, Operations, Technology and Marketing/Communications to implement complex transformational change. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver, passionate about driving clarity, decision making and results despite ambiguity. This role calls for a high-degree of analytical skills to synthesize and make sense of data, processes and details. The right candidate will have experience in Wealth Management, Financial Services, Investments and/or Management Consulting.Job responsibilities
Define and analyze business problems/objectives and translate into tangible solutions
Assess current state, develop detailed target state operating models and implementation roadmaps to support cross-functional change
Leverage understanding of client and advisor wealth management processes (front, middle, and back offices), such as client relationship management, account opening, consolidated client reporting, enhanced performance and risk reporting
Think innovatively to analyze, design and prioritize alternative solutions
Influence a cross-functional, diverse environment to change status quo
Create and deliver compelling presentations for senior leadership
Develop and train junior BTO team members
Forge relationships (internally and across functions) and build a network throughout the firm
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape and emerging technologies
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
6+ years of experience in management consulting and/or program management
Demonstrated experience driving large scale, complex projects and operating model changes thru design, planning, documenting and execution
High proficiency in leading program workstreams and cross-functional working groups
Experience with end-to-end processes/infrastructure, including advisors, client service, product, technology, operations and controls
Comfortable with ambiguity, adapts to change and navigates large organizations with confidence
Detail oriented, organized and familiar with program management and process mapping tools/methodology
Strong track record of stakeholder management, influencing and executive-level communication skills
Strong understanding of emerging trends in wealth management
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Wealth Management experience preferred
MBA (or equivalent) strongly preferred
