Lead Analyst- Lending Analytics (Hybrid)

This position is part of the Lending Analytics team, within the larger US Personal Banking Analytics organization. Lending Analytics is responsible for conducting financial and statistical analyses to drive Unsecured Lending business growth for Citi US Personal bank. Analyses will also focus on the development of comprehensive Pricing and Marketing strategy recommendations based on multiple factors such as in-depth customer insights (analytically derived), sound financial impact forecasting and thorough understanding of competitive landscape. Analyst will lead end to end analytics for all new Third-Party Point-of-Sale lending partnerships with Large/ mid-size Merchants, Payment Networks, etc. It is a very highly visible role that requires thought leadership and collaboration with senior leaders across multiple functions.Responsibilities:Lead analytics for all new Point-of-Sale (BNPL) lending partnerships and business development opportunities with large/ mid-size firms Merchants, Payment Networks, etc.

Business case sizing based on Citi internal data/ trends and external market & industry trends

Develop analytically derived omni-channel targeting, pricing, and communication strategies to drive long-term growth and profitability

Recommend and design testing around offer constructs/value prop, population selection, segmentation, etc. to further learnings and enhance opportunities

Oversee the annual plan by coordinating with marketing partners and driving the analysis to support marketing spend and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines. Work with marketing to prioritize spending on highest return initiatives while also continuing to push test & learn capabilities.

Identify actionable customer insights based on internal and external customer behavioral and financial data

Develop sound program impact forecasting (both financial impact and customer behavior) and track program impact over time in order to build knowledge about how each treatment impacts the portfolio dynamics.

Provide thought leadership while working closely with business partners in Business Development, Risk Management, Partnership Marketing, Finance, Legal and Compliance. Collaborate / influence business partners to implement strategies capitalizing on opportunities identified through risk-return analysis. Communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders

Qualifications:Strong analytical and practical problem-solving abilities. Solid understanding of the consumer lending market, customer life cycle, and P&L

Strong understanding of optimization and financial forecasting processes, and advanced analytics tools & techniques

Strong project management, analytic thinking, and partnership skills

Ability to work in cross-functional teams

Must have working knowledge of technical skills: SQL, SAS, MS Office. Experience with R, Python is preferred

6+ years of work experience in a quantitative field. Consumer finance or credit card industry experience preferred

Education:Bachelor's degree with background in Statistics, Economics, Business, Operations Research or similar discipline. Master's degree preferred
