QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have at least 5-8 years of programming experience in Java and/or functional programming with Scala, with good analytical and communication skills. The candidate should have experience providing functional leadership in an agile methodology. Familiarity building event-driven, real-time systems is desired. The selected candidate will interact closely with our trading desk globally so strong written and verbal skills are required. - Proficient in Java/Scala with a strong algorithmic and data structures background- Experience working directly with a front office trading function- 5-8+ years experience in systems development- Leadership experience- Agile methodologies- Building event-driven, high-performance, low-latency applications in a multi-tiered architecture- Relational database design and SQL Skills Desired:- Scala- Apache Kafka- Cloud Native Experience- Web Technologies (Angular, React)- Knowledge of Securities Finance (Securities Lending, Secured Funding, Prime Services)
