The Senior Mobility Platform Engineer provides overall direction, technical leadership, and expertise supporting Our Client’s (top Investment Firm)
Cloud and On-Premises Mobility Platforms including Blackberry UEM, MobileIron MDM, and Microsoft Intune. Experience must align with integrations into Microsoft’s O365 suite, Okta, Azure Cloud connect with Exchange Online and must have working expertise with cloud management and virtualized environments. The position requires accomplished expertise in the engineering, testing, and deployment of highly complex systems and services, including the integration with Office 365 and SaaS applications and developing and sustaining standards and practices of the underlying technologies. Hands-on maintenance and support of production services and remediation and methodical troubleshooting of issues escalated by first- and second-layer operational support teams. Grasps ITIL fundamental processes related to the service lifecycle and demonstrates a maturity in applying technology and soft people skills. Responsible for collaborating with peers on the overall strategy of integrating cloud architecture with server and storage technologies, developing service roadmaps, and implementing and mentoring best practices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES:- Leads mobility platform architecture development focusing on improving availability, performance, and business continuity of the production systems and services. - Responsible for providing timely troubleshooting support for infrastructure with primary oversight responsibilities of key third-party vendors. Drives improved operational uptime standards providing for highly available server and storage environments.- Leads multiple projects as a subject matter expert in support of MDM, Office 365, SAML, authentication, and other cloud-hosted systems and applications. Participates in product evaluations and works closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to support timely systems deployments.- Benchmarks, evaluates, and makes recommendations for the selection of software and hardware products.- Leverages 3rd party vendor relationships to assist with vetting architectures and designs and performing infrastructure assessments. Provides support for escalated service issues and guiding technology roadmaps.Experience:- Advanced work experience with: Blackberry UEM, MobileIron MDM, Microsoft Intune, Office 365 Suite, Azure AD, Azure Files, AWS, Azure DNS, Application Gateways, Cloud Networking, Okta, SSO, SAML, TCP/IP, DNS, Enterprise SaaS applications.- Experience designing and administering enterprise-wide mobility solutions; working with and managing third-party vendors and consultant arrangements in support of projects.- Key performance measures will consider: quality, complexity, and quantity of projects supported, level of interaction with operations management teams, staff training programs, management reporting, strategic planning focus, identifying new technologies that can be deployed, identification and adoption of best practices, level and quality of operational support provided, development and adherence to capital budgets, delivery of initiatives on time and teamwork demonstrated. - Experience recommending & implementing cost-effective enhancements for optimal capacity and performance of network environments.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong systems troubleshooting skills.EDUCATION & Experience- 5 - 10 years’ experience administering Mobility MDM Platforms in an enterprise deployment.- 5+ years’ experience engineering and administering cloud services in AWS/Azure.- 5+ years’ architecture, design of Office 365 experience- 5+ years’ architecture, design of SaaS and cloud hosted machines and systems experience.- 5+ years’ experience providing enterprise support within a FINRA compliant organization or department.- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Microsoft Certifications are a plus.Vacancy expired!
