We are a small well established dog walking and cat sitting company based out of North Brooklyn providing services in the Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo neighborhoods. We are looking for serious DOG LOVING job seekers who are willing to commit to at least 1 year of employment with min of 30 hours per week. Our current walkers have been with us for 6-8 years. As we build up your route or based on availability, 40 hrs might be possible with occasional Overtime . This is not a job with a lot of flexibility as most of our clients are Monday - Friday and pets count on us to be there everyday so if you are looking to go on tour, or need to take random last minute days of for auditions etc, this is not a job for you. Must have great at communication skills including writing to send updates about each walk, punctual, responsible and know how to keep cool under stressful circumstances. Must be strong enough to walk 2-3 dogs at once. Must have a phone with unlimited data. Although you will be primarily working with dogs, good people skills are a must. You must also be willing and able to work in cold, wet and hot weather. it is mostly a fun job but it can get wet, cold/ hot and very uncomfortable sometimes.
