Mainframe Security (RACF) Engineer

Huxley is partnered with a leading investment bank that's looking for a Mainframe Security (RACF) Engineer as well as a VP to oversee the Mainframe Security RACF team.

This team falls under their Mainframe Computing and Hardware Security team. This team is responsible for integrating security policies into all new Mainframe technologies.

Responsibilities:

Engineer and implement RACF Mainframe Security products.
Design and support Mainframe encryption and authentication initiatives.
Post-implementation validation of OS and Software upgrades.
Develop automation, tools, and batch programs.
Participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications:

10+ years' experience working on the Mainframe - ideally starting as a Mainframe Engineer before moving into Security.
Advanced knowledge of RACF configuration and internals from an engineering perspective.
Strong understanding of PKI, digital certificates, Kerberos, SSL, SSH, etc.
Ability to program in a Mainframe language (CARLA, CLIST, REXX, JCL, SAS, ISPF).
Experience with database technology and OS utilities.
For VP-level role, proven ability to manage people.

This is a full-time, direct-hire role and can sit remotely, but will work on Eastern Time. You must currently be located in the US with valid work authorization.
