Location: New York, NY Position Type: Full Time General Responsibilities: -Developing new user-facing features using React.js -Work with business partners and tech leads on creating efficient workflows in our application using mockups and other techniques. -Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use -Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code -Development, testing, debugging, and ongoing maintenance of new and existing code -Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers Technical Skills: -React.js base SPA- -Node.js -Interacting with both internal and external 3rd party APIs Troubleshooting techniques: -Translating bug reports from business partners to actionable developer tasks -Assisting more jr developers in resolving Linux: -Comfortable with developing on Linux servers -Understand deployment models in Linux -Windows Soft Skills: -An awesome sense of humor -Flexibility - as a small organization we always need to be flexible and use the Goldilocks principle -Great team player - everyone can help everyone else Optional Skills: -Typescript -C# -SQL with MariaDB/MySQL -js backend experience -javaVacancy expired!
