- Work with the Technology Infrastructure Network Engineering team within Technology & Operations that provides strategy, design, engineering and level-3 operational support for both corporate as well as externally facing client Aladdin environments
- Be an experienced Network Engineer with a focus on Cisco Software Defined Access and network automation, but also with broad skills across traditional routing, switching and network security technologies
- The main focus for the role will be the delivery of the firm's new Corporate HQ
- Play a significant role in the deployment and initial support for this innovative facility
- Rollout of the new technologies to the rest of the company that have been developed
- Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA) specializing in DNA Center, distributed ISE (PAN, MnT, PSN and pxGrid), SXP and SGT
- Cisco routing and switching including OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, Layer-1 and 2 technologies
- Integration of SDA with Aruba and Forescout solutions as well as Cisco firewalls
- Encryption and tunneling technologies including VPNs, IPSec, MACsec and GRE
- Significant experience in Cisco Software Defined Access and associated technologies specializing in DNA Center and ISE
- 10+ years hand-on network engineering experience for global enterprise(s), preferably in the Financial Services sector
- Extensive experience extracting requirements, producing designs, strategies and project plans, leading to implementation and high-quality operational handovers
- Extensive experience designing and delivering macro and micro-segmentation solutions across global networks
- Extensive experience with Cisco campus and data center routers and switches with associated technologies and protocols
- CCNP Cisco certification or equivalent preferred
- Experience with WiFi solutions (Aruba, Cisco)
- Experience with Cisco firewalls, as well as an understanding of web proxies and load-balancers
- Experience scripting and providing automation solutions for networks (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is desirable
- Flexible and able to shift rapidly with a constantly evolving environment
- Ability to run projects, working independently as well as within a team
- Must possess ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and deliver when under pressure
- Excellent written, verbal communication, as well as strong customer service skills
- Experience of working in a highly regulated environment
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach and willingness to work out of hours as the need arises is essential
