- Serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues
- Partner with our engineering team to develop operational handoff to transition new initiatives into full operational support
- Work closely with vendors to ensure timely problem resolution
- Respond to emergency work requests, troubleshoot network failures and errors
- Diagnose, isolate, and resolve routine to moderately/highly complex network-related problems ensuring timely results and minimal disruption of operations
- Assist with developing, monitoring, and implementing network security procedures for safeguarding all networking systems
- Update documentation to ensure accuracy
- Interact with other Technology teams regarding new application deployments and service installations
- Assist/support other network related tasks/requirements as directed
- Maintain network monitoring tools to ensure reliability
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Associate degree (or completion of equivalent amount of college coursework) in a relevant field
- 5+ years of related experience in network operations/engineering
- Strong knowledge of Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, and Cloud technologies
- Troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose/resolve network system problems
- Ability to interpret and apply complex technical manuals and reference materials
- Project management experience
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
