Oracle DBA Contract NY Metro Area Remote Job Description: Our global banking partner is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to be assigned as the Database Administrator for Oracle Databases, Responsible for the consistent management of Oracle databases according to company standards, policies and procedures; including related tasks associated with reviewing, testing and implementation of Oracle scripts. Primary responsibility will be assigned by project team developing new bank financial application. Day to day tasks would be assisting in developing and troubleshooting any problems that come up with the application development process. Documenting the new environment will be a major task and representing the team in project related meetings. Required Skills:- 7+ years' Experience in financial institution
- 5+ years Project experience - Full project life Cycle (Working under Project management)
- 7+ years proficiency in Operating Systems( AIX, Linuxetc.
- Strong knowledge of Operating Systems in AIX & Oracle Cluster ware
- Good working knowledge of Oracle 11i and Oracle 12c
- 7+ years Proficiency in database concepts, design and operations
- 7+ years in developing database scripts and management tools.
