24673/24674 – Consultant – OTC Product ManagementPrimary Location: Chicago – 20 S. Wacker OR NEW YORK, NY (Lower Manhattan)This position is to support Product Management for Risk Management and Clearing Services for ETD and OTC products. This includes design analysis, requirement authoring and implementation.

There are several critical functions for the role which we list below:
  • Work closely with all stakeholders involved in IBOR Reform related initiatives to define requirements, partner with technology teams on implementation and testing, to include partnering with customers on external adoption.
  • Create external materials including presentations, business requirements and test plans and user guides
  • Create internal materials including business requirements and technical requirements, test scripts, QA test cases and execute those tests
  • Maintain project documentation and planning materials
  • Lead technical requirement review sessions with internal stakeholders
  • Support ad hoc requests from development team in design and implementation phases of project

List description and target level of experience:
  • 2+ years of overall experience; 5 years preferred
  • 2+ years of Business Analysis or Product Management experience required
  • 2+ years of Financial services experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with trade life cycle support, OTC pricing and valuation and risk models preferred
  • Exposure to prime brokerage or clearing middle and back-office functions preferred
  • Background in mathematics or financial engineering highly preferred
  • Ability to write test scripts using python/R with exposure to SQL/Oracle highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of the Calypso capital markets application and Bloomberg preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering or related discipline preferred
