Our client, a global financial service company, is seeking to bring on a strong PeopleSoft GL Functional Consultant for a minimum 6 month assignment. This consultant will assist in multiple new projects that are global in nature. This role operates on a hybrid schedule out of their New York City office.
Responsibilities:- Analyze and define functional requirements
- Document procedures, training guides, and test results
- Act as SME for modules/business functions across systems
- Work and provide direct support to the business users
- Work in complex multi-currency and multi-book environment
- 10+ years of PeopleSoft GL experience including consolidations, multi-book, multi-currency
- Deep understanding of the business side of finance / accounting
- Highly organized with critical attention to the details and excellent follow up skills
- Ability to work independently and/or within a collaborative team structure
- Strong written, oral, and presentational communication skills
- Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships in a virtual collaborative environment
- Local to New York City and willing to work onsite in a hybrid capacity
