Platform Engineer with one of our direct clients. For a brief 1 minute video about us, you can check https://youtu.be/uJWBWQZEA6o.What will you do?· Translate Business Requirements into appropriate build and deployment model.· Look through at the entire application and understand how pieces of infrastructure and deployment make up a larger platform play.· Build security model around the platform infrastructure and deployment with appropriate access control, policies and authentication.· Develop automation and processes to enable teams to deploy, manage, configure, scale and monitor their applications in data centers and in cloud.· Actively participate in high level team activities such as suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements and conducting tool evaluations.· Help solve business needs with technology by evaluating different technology options and vendor products.· System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains - will be expected to participate in on-call escalations to troubleshoot customer facing issues.What do we need?· Total of at least 10 years of experience showing career progression to the Architect level position.· Must have experience with application platform on the cloud such as building, deploying and monitoring microservices deployment, storage infrastructure, API Gateway setup.· Should have experience in Azure Service Environment and ops - ACS / AKS.· Strong understanding of Cloud concepts – IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.· Strong understanding of Networking Fundamentals - Firewalls, NAT, TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, CIDR, VPN.· Hands on experience in Azure with key services like VM, VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, Azure AD and Storage Account. Experience with ACS and AKS is desired.· Hands on with Deployment of Azure resources with Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure CLI.· Experience designing high availability, performant and secure solutions using Azure. Experience with Infrastructure Architecture highly preferred.· Knowledge on migrating applications to the Cloud and Designing Cloud Native applications.· Good knowledge on Kubernetes concepts - Secrets, Config Maps, Services etc. Experience in Kubernetes is highly preferred.Vacancy expired!
