- Seeking a Program Manager I
- Part of our client's mission is to run scalable, meaningful programs that connect the team with developers. Through high quality events and content, we aim to champion developer feedback internally and create empathy across the engineering team to build a better platform.
- Events and community engagement are essential to our mission. We run a handful of marquee events ranging from small meetups to large scale technical developer summits. In addition, we have a strong presence, partner conferences, and select third-party events. We're also looking to build new engagement programs across community sites and social media.
- Bring your experience with events and community management to our developer engagement programs - from developing and enhancing the community strategy to supporting the execution of some of our events.
- The ideal candidate is a project manager at heart, and is comfortable working in a dynamic environment and remaining flexible to the changing needs of the program. You should be someone who is passionate about helping developers succeed.
- Working online engagement into our events strategy
- Helping manage all aspects of event logistics
- Building post-event reports and conducting retrospectives
- Developing processes for consistently tracking and measuring the impact of event experiences, and reporting outcomes to key stakeholders
- Interacting with and managing multiple vendors, partners, and a wide range of functional groups
- At least 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Community Manager, Event Coordinator, Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or similar role
- Customer service mindset
- Professional experience with social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Medium / Blogs Exceptional organizational skills and experience using GSuite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and project management skills
- Strong people and relationship-building skills
- Ability to keep large amounts of documents and metrics/data organized
- Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
- Desired:
- Experience working with developers and/or developer communities
- Experience working with CRM systems or databases
- Comfortable working with an international, distributed team
- A team player with the ability to exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing and oftentimes ambiguous environment
- Proven aptitude and hunger for learning, an ability to develop and implement creative ideas, and the discipline to manage different projects to tight deadlines simultaneously
- Experience in program management and familiarity with developer relations and operations
