Our Fortune 500 Media Client is seeking a Project Manager for a long term contract, which could eventually lead into contract-to-hire. The Project Manager has primary responsibility to plan, track, and manage projects to successful completion.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.Requirements of the Project Manager:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 7 years of project management experience
- Experience managing web development projects within a media company and/or in an online businesses environment
- Experience managing projects that involve content management, cataloging, marketing, and/or scheduling systems
- Experience with Agile/Lean methodologies and software engineering practices, along with traditional PM approaches
- Ability to understand relevant technologies and facilitate resolution of technical issues as they arise
- Budgeting and financial tracking in an enterprise environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Agile certification and/or PMP certification a big plus
