Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees are expected to have in-depth capital markets product knowledge, and manage a high level of risk. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Individual contributor role. Qualifications Knowledge of financial derivatives and risk management a benefit but not necessary 10 years experience in technology analysis and design 10+ years experience with Python, UNIX scripting, SQL Queries, Database design and Tuning, Performance diagnostics and analysis. 7+ years of experience on Linux and/or windows. Ability to compare alternate technologies and analyze pros and cons in order to determine the best fit for a specific requirement. Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution, including replication to remote sites. Provide technical systems and software support for modification, implementation, or conversion of processing platforms. Partner with application team, DBA s, infrastructure procurement and production support to design infrastructure solution that will most efficiently satisfy processing requirements.
