This is a 12 months initial contract role.key to the role : Financial or Trading or Investment Banking experience or domain knowledge is required.Responsibilities Development of automation framework & automation test solutions for Client Life Cycle Mgmt & data intensive applicationReview functional requirements and technical designs to create automated test plans and detailed test cases, as requiredAutomate sanity checks, regression, and functional cases under tight timelinesAutomate integration, data mapping & validation across multiple internal & external data intensive applicationsIdeate and create best approach & procedures for efficient automated test solution by understanding end to end flow, system architecture, components involved & protocols.Work closely with our development team & QA team to develop deep understanding of the product and to ensure detailed test steps are documentedAssist business; pre and post launch and act as first line of triage for any bugs found.Ability to troubleshoot and fix automation suite bugsBuild and maintain strong working relationships with the project and client teamsRequired Skills10 years or plus of solid experience in building automated test solutionsKnowledge of Client on-boarding and Client Life Cycle management process.Good working knowledge of Fenergo product is preferableStrong preference to candidates with software development background (C#, Java, Python, etc.)7+ years of solid hands on experience in UFT, Selenium, SQL, and any scripting language such as python, Perl, java script, shell scripts, etc.Experience in QA processes and methodology; understanding requirements, test planning, test designing, and test executionExperience in automation of functional, regression, smoke, and Integration testing.Experience working with ALM, Jira/Confluence or similar toolsFast learner, with good attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work independently with little supervision in a fast-paced demanding environment.Ability to manage both manual (as required) and automation testingStrong communication and coordination skills required to plan & deliver test solutions by interacting with global QA, BA, PM, Dev, and other downstream application teams, as applicable
