Regulatory Change Principal within the Accountability, Culture and Talent (ACT) Program groupThis position is part of the Accountability, Culture and Talent (ACT) transformation program group formed to lead Citi’s transformation efforts across these three critical pillars. We are at a pivotal moment of redefinition across our franchise as we transform our risk and control environment to one that is stronger and simpler. The ACT Regulatory Change Principal will drive forward the successful execution of ACT’s work in accordance with regulatory expectation, provide cross-program group coordination and first line review and challenge of the project plans to meet regulatory expectation. The role reports to the global ACT Transformation Lead within the CAO office. The ideal candidate will have regulatory experience, be proactive, able to deal with ambiguity and multi-task, analytical, strong process and detail orientation, operate with a high degree of collaboration and enjoy driving results.The ACT Regulatory Change Principal will be responsible for the following:Support the development and review of appropriate and comprehensive responses and validate the remediation plans as relates to Citi’s Consent Orders in relation to the book of work within ACT

Oversee and coordinate regulatory examinations and reviews to ensure the organization proactively addresses regulatory requests and concerns as relates to Citi’s Consent Orders in relation to the book of work within ACT

Provide review and challenge of critical change of ACT’s work to assess whether remediation efforts fully address regulatory commitments and expectations, and is embedded in a broader strategic vision

Works with the global Transformation team members to develop and drive enhanced processes. This will include developing and maintaining strong working relationships across all Functions, Businesses, Program Managers, and the Global Regulatory Engagement team

Ability to look across programs and initiatives to identify related and interdependent elements and provide recommendations, where needed, for combining or connecting programs and initiatives to achieve greater remediation effectiveness and efficiency

Uses excellent communication skills to influence a wide range of internal audiences including respective product, function, or regional executive management partners and external audiences including regulators and internal auditors

The timely delivery of high quality, value-added multiple concurrent deliverables on time and to specification

Ensure close coordination and partnership with the Citi ACT Project Management team to align deliverables and timelines to central team requirements

Serve as a member of select committees, task forces and working groups focused on a variety of special projects specific to ACT

Qualifications:Broad, and deep experience in regulatory supervision or relations or in a role requiring deep regulatory understanding

A track record of managing regulatory remediation programs at a peer institutions of from a Regulatory perspective would be a plus

Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels within the organization, including effective challenge and influencing skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests

Well-developed listening skills and a strong ability to provide proactive support and advice

Superior oral and written communication skills, and in particular, the ability to assess and contribute to the content of large regulatory submissions

A positive, can-do attitude

Growth mindset, seeking and implementing feedback and maintaining flexibility to pivot and course correct as needed

Able to excel in a dynamic, fluid and continuously changing environment; proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks, independently and collaboratively

Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
