Enterprise Architecture & Engineering (EAE) is a growing department within the Global Technology division at Bank of America that is responsible for:

• Delivering Training, tooling & capabilities that help technology teams create accessible products for our customers and employees

• Improving the experience for our developers, making it easier to deliver industry-leading solutions, while managing work efficiently and with the right controls

• Advancing our technology platforms through innovation

• Deliver the best digital experience for those managing the technology division for our teammates and customers Drive accessibility of applications

• Reducing risk and improving quality across our technology portfolio by aligning to a single enterprise architecture strategy and delivering governance that enables consistency, integration and automation

Enterprise Technology Accessibility Center of Excellence (ETACoE) is one of the core functions of EAE responsible for driving technology accessibility of enterprise application by providing required training/education /guidance and tools & solutions to enable application teams deliver for accessibility along with a governance function. We operate in a very dynamic and fast-paced global business environment. This role is responsible for maximizing the value for one or more products, at the program level in a scaled Agile model. Key responsibilities include defining the vision and roadmap for their products, defining, and prioritizing the features/epics in the program backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and development teams. This role works closely with stakeholder to understand their needs, and with Products Owners to ensure they are aligned on priorities. They support and collaborate with the Portfolio Product Executive on financials throughout delivery. They are experts of the products, business or technology domain, and the industry in which the product competes.

We are looking for a talented, seasoned and highly motivated Accessibility Product Manager who will support the creation of the vision and roadmap for the development or improvement of accessibility policy, quality assurance and control measurements, and governance to align with strategic direction for the business and technology domains. Will collaborate with company leaders across the various lines of business in reviewing current accessibility policy, controls and governance which includes conducting analysis when engaging with internal stakeholders. A successful candidate has prior experience in accessible technology design and delivery and has a very good understanding of industry standards & best practices.

Required Skills:

-Prior experience in compliance, operational risk and senior management reporting.

-Will need to synthesize large amounts of information into simple straightforward language and communicate clearly and succinctly to Senior Leadership.

-Will conduct in-depth review of relevant policies and standards and provide analysis and thought leadership by writing reports to promote overall recommendations. Produce supporting documentation for review by stakeholders.

-Experience in process management, quality assurance and control measurement.

-Experience or proven ability to create and document current process, identify gaps and create target state processes and metrics

-Generate and document the required evidence to support target state process to show sustainability.

-Assess reporting deliverables and governance routines to ensure alignment with policies, laws, rules, and/or regulations and to drive strategic process, content, and design enhancements and harmonization

-Demonstrates a working-knowledge of Agile SDLC environment, with a strong focus on technical excellence and the ability to build and work in an Agile environment

-Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) ability to interface with technology and line of business stakeholders and executives to drive the program objectives forward

-Quick learner. The product manager will do work related to accessibility and will need to quickly learn policy details, data sources, and analysis methods.

-Highly motivated self-starter. Self-starter with ability to work on topics simultaneously. Comfort with uncertainty and an entrepreneurial working context.

-Policy oriented. The candidate will need to be a strong writer with experience in composing policy and process recommendations that are meaningful and crisp for the highest levels of management including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.

-Superb organizational and project coordination skills. Expert ability to document process flows from conceptual design to detailed design using Visio or comparable process mapping tools.

Desired Skills:

Deep knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint Site with the ability to easily adapt to technology, tools, and applications

General Description:

As an expert, creates the vision and roadmap for the program based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and the strategic direction for the business or technology domain. Communicates the program vision and roadmap to stakeholders, Product Owners and the teams. Oversees the budget(s) for one or more products. Provides input into defining business capabilities and aligning them to products or creating new products to support them. Articulates the business value to Product Owners so they understand product and strategy; Ensures alignment across product roadmap to achieve portfolio objectives. Creates and prioritizes features/epics in the program backlog; empowered to make decisions about trade-offs with emerging work versus planned work. Refines features/epics with the Product Owners to ensure there is enough ready work for the upcoming 1-2 quarters. Reviews and accepts features/epics and is empowered to make on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements. Works in partnership with the Product Owners and the teams to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business and industry trends. Participates and attends relevant industry events to bring points of view and trends to the Bank. May lead a Community of Practice and participate in the Center of Excellence. May manage a team.
