The engineer will need good time management it's common to multitask, while debugging problems reported by customers and coordinating with other team members.Excellent understanding of IAM security with expertise in Sailpoint. Project planning, Sailpoint development, Sailpoint IAM management, trouble shooting, and operations are the critical tasks for this role. Any of these professional certifications will elevate your application for this role: CompTIA-CSA, CEH, GISF, GSIP, GCIA, GSEC and CISSP.This Security engineer role provides the expertise and knowledge required to support Identity Management Security technology (Sailpoint - IdentityIQ Core Governance Platform, IdentityIQ Compliance Manager, IdentityIQ Lifecycle Manager, Single Sign-On (SSO), IdentityNow Password Management) processes related to protecting an enterprise with security access controls. Must have the ability to manage their day-to-day operations, Ability to monitor identity security / application for performance problems, integrate new applications / onboard into Sailpoint, and provide troubleshooting support for clients; When issues arise, they must analyze the root cause and resolve them promptly or else escalate them as needed. Have the ability to write extensive documentation on procedures, device statuses, block lists, and other important technical areas, project controls, and operational processes. Despite the strong technical focus of the job, this security engineer will also engage with clients, relaying information about the project and troubleshooting all issues discovered. They are proficient in project management and they can actively apply policies and standards to all projects.
