Position Description:

NYL Investments is a global asset management firm with $650Bn in assets under management. The Technology Strategy Team seeks to design and deploy solutions that enable sales, marketing, data, product, and operations teams across the company to be more productive, effective, and data driven. This team is user-obsessed and passionate about designing technology solutions that help people do their jobs. We are seeking a Business Analyst to support our global sales teams and the sales enablement tools they use. This individual should be a problem solver who is interested in how technology and data can be leveraged to grow and improve our business. This individual will work closely with our sales teams in the U.S., Europe, and Asia to deploy and manage the technologies that support our global sales and marketing processes.

Key Role Responsibilities and Functions:
  • Responsible for the delivery of enhancements and functionality for our global Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform
  • Complete detailed business requirements documentation and collaborate with IT and business partners to enable successful execution
  • Key technology point of contact for sales teams on all technology-related items. This will involve listening to new ideas, responding to time-sensitive questions, and troubleshooting issues. This role will primarily support our U.S. Retail, Japan, and Korea Sales Teams
  • Develop and deploy strategies to increase and / or maintain adoption of our sales enablement technologies. Manage quarterly adoption analysis and recommendations to senior Sales Leadership
  • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Salesforce enhancements and production fixes
  • Manage ad-hoc data Salesforce requests in support of organizational initiatives and efforts. Collaborate with our Data, Marketing, and Global Relationship Management teams to deliver timely leads and notifications to our Sales team
  • Work closely with the head of Technology Strategy to build the roadmap and conduct annual planning for our sales enablement tools
  • Conduct ongoing User Research with sales teams to build a pipeline of new ideas, pain points, and opportunities to advise future strategy. This will require active listening skills and the ability to adapt based on insights discovered
  • Facilitate meetings, requirements-gathering sessions, and educational sessions. This will often require bringing multiple stakeholders and points of view together to align on a path forward
  • Analyze, determine feasibility, validate, and obtain sign-off on business requirements
  • Develop a knowledge of NYL Investments' business and find opportunities to recommend enhancements, challenge current processes, and test new technologies. Propose and execute on ideas to ensure our technology and data platforms remain current and leading edge
  • Collaborate with others to solve complex problems and identify creative solutions

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • You have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience, preferably in the asset management and / or technology industry
  • Through your prior work experience, you have demonstrated the ability to manage projects and deliver tangible results
  • You are detail-oriented, have strong relationship-building and communication skills, and are able to articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • You are passionate about technology, and how we can leverage it to solve real problems our users have
  • You are empathetic and an active listener, interested and able to find and fix problems for our user communities
  • You are collaborative, resourceful, and entrepreneurial, with a focus on outcome and return on investment
  • You have experience with Salesforce Lightning, either as an administrator or user. Certified Salesforce.com Administrator a plus
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills required
  • Asset management industry knowledge or experience a plus
  • We work in a hybrid work environment. This job will be based in our NYC headquarters T/W/R and remote M/F, however there is flexibility for remote working days whenever needed
