Sr Data Analyst P&C Insurance Our client, a $10 Billion global P&C Insurance company is seeking a strong Analyst to work with their Actuarial Financial Reserving team. Required Skills:- 3-6 years of Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance background required, including some experience working with P&C actuaries.
- Experience with SQL/ETL applications involving Reserving systems and/or Financial Reporting in P&C Insurance Industry is highly preferred.
- Some P&C actuarial science knowledge (e.g. Pricing, Reserving), is strongly preferred.
- Advanced skills in SQL with the ability to interpret and debug complex SQL queries along with performance tuning. MS SQL Server experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Working within the Technical Reserving team to manage and compile the data sets used in the reserving process.
- Produce a range of core and ad hoc reports to support the quarterly reserving process.
- Working with Finance to reconcile the data used in the quarterly reserve analysis and the results of the quarterly reserving analysis.
- Self-starter, detail oriented, quick learner, deadline driven and able to work relatively independently with direction.
- Exceptional problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communicator.
