This Client, a leading, global software company, is opening a new software engineering hub in New York City to extend its engineering footprint.They develop software that enhances the customer experience by delivering the most relevant, personalized product answers to each end user, wherever they need it.They are a fast growing company with a unique solution to an everyday problem facing millions of software users daily, with the best customers in the world (Dell, Sony, Mastercard) and backed by tier I global private equity investors. They have an immediate need for Senior FrontEnd Software Engineers to join and be part of the founding team of the engineering hub. And as an early member of the NYC engineering team, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to play a role in shaping the team culture and processes. You will own the end-to-end delivery of large-scale features to create sterling web experiences for consuming technical product documentation, mentor junior developers and act as an active partner with product, design, and peer engineers. Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.6+ years of front-end development experience in large-scale web applications.Expert level proficiency in writing modular JavaScript in ES6 (and/or beyond) utilizing common JavaScript design patterns and using modern web frameworks (React/Angular/else).Proven experience in writing scalable, efficient and clean code and supporting reusable and maintainable UI components and API’s.Understanding of and experience with frontend technologies and tools such as Redux, Webpack, NPM, Babel, and browser-based protocols and capabilities.
