If interested in discussing the position further, please send an MS Word version of your resume to Leighanna, Here are the details: Position: Senior Java DeveloperLocation: New York, New York (Hybrid Model) Rate: Negotiable Duration: Permanant Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Analyze business requirements and create detailed technical specifications from which applications will be written- Gain understanding of business case and functionality expectations- Code and script applications- Follow coding standards and guidelines, and contribute to the standards- Deploying applications in a continuous delivery environment with automated testing- Compiling and assessing user feedback to identify end-user requirements and specifications and to improve software performance- Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects- Complete tasks as assigned on time in a quality manner so that goals and milestones are achieved Must Haves:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field- 4+ years of software development experience- Proficiency in Standard Java- Must know at least one front-end framework (Angular, React, jQuery)- Familiarity with databases (e.g. SQL, MYSQL) and web servers- Solution-oriented and high-level programming skills- Ability to understand and write code documentation that conveys your solution to others- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize application for security and responsiveness For this opportunity, you will also be eligible for benefits through Apex for the contract period, a W2 hourly rate, weekly pay, and direct deposit!Apex Systems Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and encourages female and minority applicants to apply.
