OverviewAs a Java Lead Developer, you will collaborate with Development Project Managers on the delivery of requirements, and own architecture and data model design for projects across the business. You should have experience with Spring Boot and SQL databases as well as Microservices and REST API, and be comfortable using JavaScript, jQuery, React Native, and ReactJS.
Additional Information – New York Only The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with New York law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York is $120k-$130k/year & benefits (see below). Responsibilities- Responsible for architecture and data model design
- Collaborate with Development Project Managers to ensure requirements are met and delivered accurately
- Coordinate implementation activities across a broad range of functions and departments; work with stakeholder groups to identify, arrange, and/or deliver training needs
- Backend development with Java and Spring Boot, Microservices
- Experienced in IT Software Development, especially in Java 8, Core Java Concepts and Advanced Java, Collections/Exceptions
- Experienced in design patterns - Spring IOC/AOP/MVC, advanced multithreading, Concurrency in Java, JDBC JMS, Spring
- Skilled in working on low latency applications
- Experienced with SQL databases
- An excellent problem solver with strong analytical skills (a must!)
- Bringing business knowledge and trade lifecycle experience in one or more areas to the team - Securities, Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, etc.
- Domain experience in FX (foreign exchange) trade application systems
