RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior .NET Technical Project Manager in New York, NY.
Responsibilities: Technical Project Manager will be working with clients internal and external to define project scopes, deliverables, KPIs and timelines Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them As a Technical Project Manager, you will be identifying and managing potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy Technical PM will be communicating with stakeholders to keep the project aligned with their goals Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed Motivating people involved in the project to complete tasks on time Technical PM will be documenting existing and new platforms as well as current operational procedures to determine improvements Certification of required behavior for a platform before it is released to stakeholdersREQUIREMENTS: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in either Computer Science, Project Management, or related field; Or equivalent work experience and on-the-job training A minimum of 5 years' experience as a project manager with customer facing responsibilities, in a software business A minimum of 5 years of experience as a developer in the .NET stack Experienced with all ancillary technologies necessary for Internet applications: HTTP, TCP/IP, POP/SMTP, etc. NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, C#, JSON, XML, REST, RDBMS (MS SQL), JavaScript, jQuery (and other more modern front-end frameworks) Certifications in project or process management Experience in managing offshore/contract development resources Understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., agile/scrum/waterfall) Proven management, organizational, and presentation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesNice to haves: Experience in implementing/managing modern UI/UX applications, especially for web and mobileKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
