Job Description:

Note - Protractor is a must have skill.

Key Tasks
  • Contribute to the development process by building automated test cases in parallel with code development in the lower environment.
  • Experience and extensive knowledge in the Protractor Jasmine Selenium framework.
  • Setting up maintaining and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms such as Mobile Desktop and Web and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of automated regression testing suites along with maintenance of existing automated tests and following the existing automation strategy.
  • Decent knowledge of Service virtualization tools to enable early testing.
  • Responsible for reviewing requirements and business functions and constructing data flow to map intended system behaviour including data boundary conditions to optimize maximum coverage.
  • Knowledge of Quality Engineering processes and concepts.
  • Handling technical communications and understanding the End to End System Integration.
  • Working with deployments teams resolving level issues for systems coordinating on product design and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
  • Ability to lead an offshore team and enable them to contribute in the same fashion as SDET.
  • Participate in sprint planning daily stand up sprint review sprint retrospective and backlog grooming meetings to provide inputs from the quality engineering teams perspective.
  • Work in a global delivery model onshore and offshore and distributed agile model.
  • Work as part of collaborative and cross functional teams following a continuous delivery approach taking responsibility for all aspects of quality from the outset.
  • Hands on experience in implementing Continuous Testing framework CI CD.
  • Maintain flexibility to react quickly to changes in priorities or circumstances to meet the needs of the business Essential Skills.

Experience Required
  • Experience with Automation frameworks like Protractor Jasmine Selenium Appium
  • DevOps CI CD tools like Jenkins and Source Control tools like GitHub
  • API tools like Postman Newman and SoapUI Rest API
  • Hands on programming experience in Java JavaScript Python and Bash
  • Experience in automated testing UI and API of web applications and web services in an agile and continuous delivery environment
  • Experience in service virtualization tools
  • Experience with Scrum methodology
  • Experiences in Test Management tools like HP ALM JIRA and Rally
  • Experience in writing SQL queries
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively facilitate meetings
  • A positive constructive approach with an emphasis on collaboration and good execution
  • Ability to manage conflicting interests and identify compromises
  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize projects in a dynamic and fast paced work environment

Desired Skills
  • Experience with creating automated scripts for mobile applications using Perfecto Experitest
  • Knowledge of non-functional testing performance UI UX Accessibility etc
  • Experience in Retail Banking domain products
  • Experience in working with Model Based Testing MBT technique using tools like Conformiq
