Core Responsibilities- Provide daily operational support for the suite of Freewheel enterprise applications
- Define and apply application configuration changes to support business initiatives
- Research, plan, test, and apply application upgrades and patches
- Manage and Maintain Business Intelligence Platform
- Be innovative in automating the daily routine tasks
- Enhance and support alert & escalation platform
- Provide governance on managed applications
- Research, develop, and implement new enterprise applications and best practices
- Develop Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) and WIKI knowledge base for all managed applications
- Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of production systems including database, application, and web servers
- Review problems to understand the root cause of issues and ensure proper fixes are deployed
- Coordinate and complete assigned deliverable schedules to ensure timelines are met
- Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to management
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- You have 2-4 years of experience in Linux setup & support
- You have proficiency in Bash, Perl, and Python scripting
- You have knowledge of web servers such as Tomcat and Nginx
- You have hands-on experience supporting various applications
- You have some experience in maintaining Atlassian products like JIRA and Confluence
- You have worked on Single-Sign-On (SSO) solutions
- You have some experience working on Incident management software like OpsGenie
- You understand concepts of BI Pipeline and associated software like (Fivetran, Snowflake, Looker, Tableau)
- You have basic knowledge of MySQL or any database
- You have started to adapt AWS
- You can explain technical concepts with ease
- You are detail oriented, flexible and thrives in a global team-oriented environment
