Work with technical and news staff to satisfy production needs for live, taped and automated programming, under supervision of Director & Operations Management
Playback recorded elements from multiple ingest channels for select Pre/Post game shows
Record other events for immediate highlight turnaround in shows
Primary responsibility for live operation of multiple Ross cambots and “Furio” robotics, rooftop and POV cameras across multiple studios
Live operation includes all moves, focusing, presets and shot recalls
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Communications) or equivalent work experience required
One (1) year of related tape experience in live, multi-camera studio production preferred
Familiarity with AVID “Command” (playback), Grass Valley “Dyno” (replay)
Familiarity with Ross Cambots & Furio robotics (studio)
Familiarity with Telemetrics robotics (roof)
Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and set / strike studio gear
Desired Characteristics:
Familiarity with NY sports a plus
Proficiency in iNEWS or similar newsroom software system preferred
With proper training, serve as fill-in for all other Tech 1 positions as needed (Studio Broadcast Tech, Video Shading, Jib)
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills required
Must be a collaborative team player who works well with others, in a fast paced, dynamic studio environment
Available to work flexible, non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays
