You will build distributed processing applications and microservices and enhance our web application to expand the assortment of products. - Define and build elegant and simple APIs to solve difficult problems in e-commerce/marketplace integration
- Develop distributed applications and tools to process product, inventory and price data
- Write clean, tested and maintainable code to implement features on our web application to support market place functionality
- Communicate with various teams across the organization to gather functional and technical specifications
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or another related field
- Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience working with Agile, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment
- Experience working with SQL and NoSql technologies
- Experience working with HTML, CSS, XML and REST
- Familiar with functional programming concepts
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Experience working with a distributed processing framework strongly preferred
