Overview:
Talented Solution Architect needed for a 12+ month contract position in New York, NY (3 days in the office/2 days remote). In this role you will be responsible for:As part of strategy to achieve the target architecture for driving and supporting digital and cloud adoption, the architect will strive to work with the fleet’s technology, business and engineering partners closely to understand business drivers, firm strategy and varying priorities. The architect will then combine this with the technical and engineering priorities to come up with the reliable, resilient, cloud-native architecture. The architect will also help the teams to come up with a year-by-year roadmap. The architect will also provide on-going architecture support to provide technical oversight, prepare for arch reviews. This role requires a broad spectrum of deep knowledge in several areas including security, devOps, databases, public cloud (esp Azure), event driven architecture, microservices, etc. Required Skills: 15+ years of hands on experience in java/.net and related technologies Strong understanding of large scale computing systems and be ability to think strategically, defend and persuade their ideas with other senior technologists 8+ years of experience in designing Banking systems, preferably Lending and Loan Management Systems Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills 8+ years’ experience defining and documenting requirements of large enterprise applications (security, entitlements, etc.)Skills Desired: 6+ years of hands-on development experience using Cloud technologies - preferably Azure Experience with object and data modelling, preferably using architecture-as-code Experience in event driven design Experience in building devops pipelines - using Azure DevOps (preferable), Jenkins, or Teamcity Familiar with architecture-as-code, preferably using C4Vacancy expired!
