We currently have a contract position for a Sr. API Backend Java Developer working Remote. W2 Candidates Only. Will be working in Eastern Time Zone. We cannot sponsor. Looking for a Sr. API/Backend Developer with at least 5-7 years of experience. Already have a team of people on this application both onshore/offshore. Not a front-end developer.
API Development, Java, OpenShift, microservices architecture experience are important. Top Must-Have Skills / Candidate Requirements: Required Skills Enterprise Java experience Oracle Databases OpenShift, Apigee, WebSphere Application Server, PING Experience developing RESTful web services & SOAP Spring Framework: Spring Security, Springboot, Spring Integration etc CI/CD, JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket/GIT, Junit, Karate, Jenkins Preferred but optional Experience with the Agile/SCRUM Methodology Prior experience in a development lead or architecture role Oracle, MQ, LISA OAuth Artifactory, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Swagger Degrees/Certifications/Years of Overall Experience Required: Bachelor's required (software engineering, computer science, and/or related field); w/7+ yrs of work experience Day to Day Responsibilities: Daily stand up at 9AM EST Design/develop/testing/releasing information to the QA environment Work on an API design Requirements will come from Jira to write the code/design the testing environment Business Need for this Role: New need Who is this workers main interaction going to be with?
