Strong Java Skills:Core Java concepts, Multi Threading, Concurrency, Depth in object oriented and functional programmingAlgorithms, Data structures, Collections, new concurrency libraries, garbage collection, java command line, jvm ( Hash Map , Tree Map, Binary Search, Arrays )

Scala:Ability to differentiate using SBT (scala build tool) and maventuplesealed trait and its benefitsUnderstanding companion class

Good Knowledge on Spark:Need not be expert but intermediateAbility to answer questions use case of using a DataSet vs a DataFrame and vice versa?Has worked on multiple business cases where we are required to write a UDF ( spark, hive, pig, hdfs)

Data/ETL:Strong in ETL hands on. Good time to be spent on data engineering… If no Spark, Data Engineering along with pig/hive/scalding is requiredDevOps and CI/CD pipeline knowledge - Mainly Teamcity, Selenium.

Soft Skills:Ablity to comprehend problems and communicate solutionsLogical Reasoning and implementationAbility to debug issues and source solutions if face complicated issues
