Sr Director, Talent Acquisition Strategy and Enablement

We are seeking a passionate, results-oriented, and inventive leader for an agile and constantly evolving global environment who will ideate, build and implement programs, technology and services and run operations that drive efficiency and scale for the Talent Acquisition (TA) function . This role will develop and execute enterprise recruiting strategy and plan integrating overall company needs to attract exceptional talent at all levels. You will drive operations & strategic programs, including managing a team to drive all operational processes across global recruiting as we scale our organization. Responsibilities: Drive long-term strategy - Collaborate with business stakeholders and partners, as well as global TA delivery teams to support Splunk’s growth by developing processes to ensure the recruiting organization is best supporting the business in a scalable and efficient manner. This includes continuous review and optimization of the following programs:

Employee Referral

Candidate and hiring manager experience

Interviewer and manager hiring capabilities

Talent Attraction

Approach to support Splunk DEI goals

TA onboarding to increase speed to productivity

TA tech stack road-map to support programs

Execute large-scale implementations - Identify and direct cross-regional and functional stakeholder groups to plan and scope out process, technology, and policy requirements for all stages of large scale implementations. Apply an approach that demonstrates flexibility and speed to results while managing project risks, and ensuring alignment on proposed solutions. Evangelize initiatives to TA teams and business stakeholders to drive adoption and feedback collection.

Ongoing management of implemented technologies - Manage ongoing operational support process including feedback collection, communication enhancements and monitoring effectiveness of TA systems. Drive metrics/data analysis, risks assessment and mitigation, and oversee client/vendor management.

Create baseline and optimize performance of operational functions such as scheduling, background check, immigration and offer generation.

Identify strategies/tactics to move highly repetitive task based work to support functions or outsource partner

Requirements:

Basic qualifications

8+ years management experience

20+ years of related work experience including:

10 + years of Product and or Program Management, specifically with change management methodologies and tools

Expertise in Lean Management, Six Sigma or other Operational Excellence tools

4-year BA/BS or equivalent years of experience

Preferred qualifications

Demonstrated ability to measure the impact of change, both quantitatively and qualitatively

History of building long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

Proven track record of inclusive leadership and managing a global team.

Strong strategic aptitude; proven ability to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels

Meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Advanced degree (MBA, or other applicable advanced degree) preferred

Deep knowledge of TA/HR processes and technology products and external landscape

Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

A track record of effectively owning process creation, management and improvement

Experience in compliance oversight and audit functions
