Our client is looking for an Sybase Developer for Long-term project in New York, NY. below is the detailed requirement. Job Title: Sybase Developer Location: New York, NY Duration: Long term Skills: SQL; Unix Shell script; Java; Sybase/Perl JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Experience in writing and debugging Database SQL stored procedures especially using Sybase T-SQL and Unix shell and Perl scripting (4+ years)
- Experience in building applications using Java, JBoss (4+ years)
- Experience in working with tools like GIT, JIRA, autosys (scheduling tool), IntelliJ, etc
- Ability to quickly read and understand existing code written in Java, C, Sybase T-SQL and Unix shell and Perl scripting
- Ability to change and compile the C code in newer versions of Linux
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills that help resolve any bugs or issues that could come up in UAT or post production
- Independent and self-driven in proactively reaching out and resolving any issues during build and testing.
- Experience in building and supporting applications in Wealth management covering the custody functions : asset transfer, asset servicing, sub ledger and cash management is a plus
