A New York-based startup that provides an "on demand" aviation platform that connects individuals and groups with private planes and pilots is looking to hire a Systems Engineer. This is a full-time, 100% remote position. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to make the next step in their career into DevOps. You will be responsible for building and maintaining reliable IT infrastructure, developing, implementing, and supporting various initiatives within systems administration and DevOps. The ideal candidate will have experience working in both on-prem and cloud environments. Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in Systems Administration
- Excellent knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Working knowledge of DevOps automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, and Jenkins
- Ability to follow change controls and security procedures
- Knowledge of networking and networking protocols
- Hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes
- Ability to manage Azure and/or AWS automation technologies
- Professional certifications
