Job Description
Title: Technical Business Analyst (Fixed Income)Location: NY, NY (Remote)Duration: 6 months contract with a probable extensionJOB DESCRIPTION:Our Financial Services client is looking for a well versed Technical Business Analyst with strong Fixed Income financial instruments experince.Responsibilities- Work withback-office teams to understand their security, trade, position and cash tracking needs, recon reports, and end-of-day straight-through processes
- Work with internal and external IT partners to ensure data feeds are accurate and delivered in a timely manner
- Be comfortable digging SQL queries to verify and validate data from daily critical reports
- Be confident about basic adjustments required to open and modify SSRS reports
- Ensure business users are kept in the loop with effective communications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and inform IT team for solutions to address those issues
- Provide better documentation for requirements and BAU processes
- Work closely with the accounting, operations, and treasury teams to develop and support tools for data downloads, analysis, and reporting
- Bachelor's degree in management required, preferred in Finance
- 6-8 years of experience with client facing applications
- Familiarity with SQL Server, T-SQL programming preferred, SSRS and SSIS
- Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, TFS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work within small teams
- Fixed income and residential mortgage market knowledge is required
- Prior experience working with SS&C CAMRA and LDC Solvas a huge plus
