Technical Program Manager 12+ Months, Possible Extension New York, NY (2 Days office rest remote) The Opportunity The Digital Media Enterprise Business Intelligence Team plays a crucial role in driving the growth and success of the Enterprise Digital Media business. We do this by providing the critical systems, tools, and insights that our Sales and Post-Sales Field teams need to make our customers successful. The Digital Media Business Intelligence Team is seeking an experienced technical program manager to drive our exciting strategic initiatives including the migration of key data flows to a cloud computing environment and the creation of multiple dashboard and analytics projects.This individual will need to be able to function with a high level of autonomy to complete strategic and operational objectives. We are looking for a dedicated individual who can lead sophisticated, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. This role requires a strong technical background in understanding data structures and cloud computing in addition to a consistent track record of delivering results. As a senior program manager, you must be able to see the big picture, yet bring attention to details. In this role, you will partner closely with your Product, Engineering and data analyst counterparts to plan requirements, identify workstreams, develop schedules, handle risks, and follow through with execution to deliver value to our stakeholders. What you'll do- Perform project planning to establish an overall project plan, including key milestones, and drives progress to achieve the project plan within time and budget constraints.
- Report status on a regular basis to provide project clarity and transparency to various levels in the organization.
- Build and refine repeatable processes, templates, and workflows to improve the efficiency of our operations.
- Drive alignment on process to optimize the workflow and increase efficiency.
- Influence and partner with team members and collaborators to drive the right outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross functional partners to define current data transformation flows and product capabilities and produce high-fidelity release schedules.
- Identify risks/issues and engage with the right partners to come up with mitigation/contingency plans.
- Own and break down the overall delivery of the requirements for the stakeholder.
- Aggregate, organize and synthesize program and project information to communicate with extended team and management.
- 8+ years of program management experience in data analytics and cloud computing technologies or related fields.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Proven record of providing structure and vital process working with geographically dispersed teams.
- Record of consistently meeting deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb new concepts quickly.
- Self-starter with an ability to successfully lead through ambiguity and prioritize multiple projects and partners.
- The skills for breaking down sophisticated problems into manageable pieces.
- Self-motivated and not afraid to tackle unknowns, demonstrate a strong bias to action.
