Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Technology Manager - Legal Compliance & Corp Gov Tech (LCG) for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Investment Banking clients in NY, NY(HYBRID). Responsibilities :
- Work closely with clients to define the scope of delivery
- Build client relationships and manage expectations
- Work closely with clients to define business requirements, including writing detailed functional requirements and use cases
- Create prototypes for business valuation and feedback
- Partner with data providers to ensure requirements are met
- Support development team in creating detailed technical specifications
- Conduct UAT, training sessions and user demos
- Support ongoing user requirements and investigate issues
- Manage strategy and roadmap for squads
- Manage horizontal service dependencies such as specialist project resources (e.g. Data Team, UX design etc.)
- Co-ordinate squad/Fleet deliverables with a variety of stakeholders (other Technology Fleets)
- Support the squads/Fleet to remove any impediments
- Squad and Fleet level reporting for a variety of stakeholder audiences
- Assist the Fleet with adoption of best practices (Agile, SDLC 3.0, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree
- The candidate should be capable of understanding and solving highly complex problems, have excellent communication skills and have financial services experience, preferably in the areas of investment banking and trading.
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Experience following the SDLC (Waterfall, Agile)
- Financial industry knowledge, preferably in Sales & Trading or Investment Banking
- Knowledge of trades data, positions data, reference data- Strong data analytical skills
- Experience working in medium to large-scale development projects
- Project management experience
