Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a UI Developer for an opportunity with a client located in New York, NY.

Responsibilities:

Develop user interfaces for complex websites and applications
Work closely with UX designers, web developers and other team members to deliver an overall seamless user experience
Convert mockups into cross-browser HTML/CSS/JavaScript templates
Work alongside web developers to implement code
Test and document new features developed
Monitor trends in UI development and advocate technology standards and best-practices
Understand UI guidelines for relevant operating systems and appropriately adjust interfaces

Skills/Qualifications:

Experience leading global team (5+)
Bachelors/Masters degree in computer science or engineering
7 -10 years
Strong in any programming language (Python, Java, C#)
Strong technology background with object oriented development experience in Java 8, Python, C# or similar
Extensive experience in web user interface technology including HTML5, React, Angular or similar
Genuine passion for creating well-designed user experience
Continuous track record of developing high performant user interface tools
Must be a self-starter, independent thinker with excellent communication
Ability to work in fast development environment and adapt quickly
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication, written skills and ability to work with senior tech/business management
Experience with Python development
Test Driven Development using JUnit / Eclipse / Ant / MavenWork
Experience in Finance Domain. Capital markets business knowledge, including derivatives
