Trigyn is seeking an UX/UI designer for contract position with its direct financial services client in New York City.
As a Designer on the design systems team, the consultant will contribute to the creation and evolution of our robust design system. The consultant will design foundational patterns, UI components, documentation, tools, and processes that enable product designers and engineers create consistent, accessible, and high-quality user experiences across our product offerings.Roles and Responsibilities: Working closely with the UX lead, help execute the product vision by being involved in every step of the end-to-end product design process Drive efficiency of designers through tooling structure and organization Explore and discover design tools to incorporate into the greater design org Partner with Design Centers of Excellence Design Technology, Accessibility & Content Strategy Drive exploration work for strategic vision Understand the underlying needs and motivation of our clients to ensure we achieve business goals and provide value to our clients Craft intuitive and elegant experiences that empower our clients to make confident financial decisions Work closely with our research team to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and make value-driven design decisions that translate into clear, simple UIs Create and present a variety of design deliverables (sketches, wireframes, user flows and prototypes) in a way that engenders confidence in you and your solutions with the team and the greater organization Form holistic solutions that integrate seamlessly into our wealth management product ecosystem Design and deliver responsive/adaptive solutions that are optimized for web and mobile interfaces and partner with engineers to translate designs into successful products Work closely with the larger Wealth Management UX team to share design best practices, align on patterns, and promote a design-centric culture at the firm Advocate for all user abilities by thoroughly testing design deliverables to meet WCAG ADA complianceRelevant experience: Explain and show how patterns can be used across an enterprise Understand UI best practices, standards, and nomenclature and how they contrast and overlap 3+ years as a UX/UI designer who was a key contributor to the success of products that have launched Outstanding portfolio that demonstrates how you have created experiences that solved business and user needs Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferably, masters degree is a plus Excellent skills in Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC and InVision Practice active listening and contribute in group situations (i.e. brainstorms, audits, critiques, whiteboard sessions, etc.) Knack for balancing user goals, technology needs and business objectives and can clearly explain the rationale for your designs and how they achieve both Constantly seek opportunities to evangelize and promote design thinking in a large organizationFor Immediate Response call 732-876-7630, or send your resume to RecruiterRP@Trigyn.comTRIGYN TECHNOLOGIES, INC. is an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER and has been in business for 30 years.
